Voyage to Pluto: Jan. 19, 2006: NASA's New Horizons Blasts Off Toward Pluto

Six years ago, and not there yet. That sure helps put space travel in perspective... a 32 year round trip just to get to the edge of our solar system and back home again.
Don't bring the kids on a space flight! "Daddy, are we there yet?"I think freedom is losing. We are losing the ability to compromise on mutually exludable ideas. Our society has become one of right or wrong with no middle and we are going to pay large price for it.
