Penn State coaching legend Joe Paterno dies at age 85

Perhaps the most ironic element when looking at the way Joe Paterno lost his job as Penn State's football coach after 46 seasons lies in the fact that Paterno, as a young man, had his eyes set on law school. They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say there. Susan Paterno is alive and well, AFAIK. She's 13 years Joe's junior, so I would expect she is in good health for her age. Perhaps I missed something. I haven't followed this story very closely.
It's sad to see Mr. Paterno leave us with this cloud over him. His legacy will always have this taint, one that is worse than Barry Bond's "asterisk" on the record books.Good job, friend-of-friends!
