On the second Saturday of March, four years ago, I received my transplant !!!!Didn't know, at that time, how things would work out, how long it would function or ,if, I would even be around !!!!

Thanks to the Good Doctors at UAB Medical Center and the Veteran's Admin. and ALL their support teams, I could never be able to express , enough, the gratitude and awe concerning the success of this procedure and the subsequent attention to detail in the continuing care I have received.
I AM A Very fortunate person. Some aren't so lucky

and, at times, I feel quite guilty to have had the insurance coverage to have made my (extended )life, basically , stress free ,as far as , medical coverage applies.

I want to express my thanks to all the folks here, who, thru the years have shown friend ship and have gotten on my case when , sometimes thru my medications, but,mostly just my sarcastic self, have run my mouth and overloaded my @$$.

Yes your very lucky Pickel, my wife is a brittle diabetic and her kidneys are on the down side in which she may be on dialysis by the end of the year, they say she may be a candidate for a kidney transplant and pancreas transplant but not sure what medicare will pay for as yet and the waiting list is long for a transplant. Glad to hear everything is working out fine for you.
