I think this is the second time it has hit the heliopause? I wrote an article for DT on one of them a while back on its first encounter, but I can't remember which unit it was now. ~_~
I guess I could read the article you linked. >_>

August 20th, 2012, 02:47 PM #4Now the data coming back aren't photographs but levels of different kinds of particles in the outer edge of the sun's bubble (the heliosphere), known as the heliosheath, the farthest the solar winds reach, which Voyager I entered in December 2004
They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

hell I don't know about V-GER though. It would appear as if the odds of it being sucked into a black hole anytime soon are pretty unlikely.
At the speed it travels we might be traveling the stars and pass it in the first 15 minutes of flight. By the time star trek's crews are around it would seem unlikely that it would have made it to the next star let alone a black hole.

OYAGE does not like outer space because it is so cold. It wants to return back to Earth.

Has it occurred to anybody in the Quantitative Easing and Easing crowd that we have a Stock Market recovery but not an Employment recovery because we don't have the reinvestment in our own Economy...
