Lets take a look at the numbers of non-white vs white ratio in the NFL. It is all about ability not about what color you are. If your team is losing and the owner does not have faith in you, see ya.
Look at the Steelers on sunday. They were losing with a black quarterback, he got bunched for a backup ( white ) and they won the game. Is this racial discrimination or is it a team doing what it can to win.
We all know it is about the win and not about the color of your skin.

This one line just about sums up the 'problem' that these lawyers have about this 'inequity':

Who was bringing up money?

BTW how many head coaching positions are there in the NFL? And how much are they paid?

How many players are there in the NFL? And how much are they paid?

And the racial diversity in the coaches office is the big worry according to Mr Cochrane.

The money is what this is all about. The players know this, the coaches know this, and the lawyers certainly know this.

Cochran said he doesn't want to bully the NFL or make money on the deal.

skywalker I was thinking about that too, better bump up the white, asian, hispanic, numbers for the nba. Yao Ming could count for maybe three people, I'm anxious to see him play.

at least 10 to 1 in terms of black guys to white guys, and i don't care.

this is getting flat out stupid, the government and lawers basically FUEL racism. when they create things of "you must treat white guys like this" and you "treat black guys like this" and "have this many white guys here and that many black guys there" it's no wonder why racism is getting to be a problem again.
if we just played together, there wouldn't be a problem.

this BS will eventualy turn into being something stupid like splitting into different race football leagues or something just as stupid. haven't these people seen remember the titans?
