whos counting the hours until the puck drops? i am.
will cujo and a new coach be enough for the wings to repeat?
will bill guerin stop playing paul bunyon with his own teammates head and lead the stars?
will mine and HfdWolfPack 's team finally get a playoff berth after a huge drought?
can carolina return to the finals and/or playoffs and further with an aging captain
and a team of grit?
how about alexander daigle? will he not show any brilliance( showed some signs, not enough) with the pens and go back to his bad acting career??? this guy was supposed to be like lemieux.....ha
well i left alot out but the answers start coming tonight. hallelujah ( however the hell you spell that!)

The Pens are moving to Washington . . .
One player at a time.

I am a big Red Wings fan (since the late 70's) and began liking the Hurricanes when they came to NC.
I doubt the Cane's will come anywhere as close to the cup as they did last year and I am very sad b/c my favorite player retired (Steve Yzerman). I am waiting for the season to start and DO think the Wings will repeat. Cujo is a great addition and I think will give the team as much support between the pipes as Floppy (Hasek) did.
A lot of people are picking Philly to do well this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they made the playoffs and went far, but as for the Cup, I think they are cursed. They ALWAYS fall apart.
I hope Mario can play a fair amount this year. I love to watch him, even now. |

the real talented players should be putting up more points and assits with the new rules too!!!
i'm excited to see the sakic/forseburg/federov/lemieux type player putting up big points as a result!

NHL to start, oh no, that means racing is about to end. |
