I have it I have it.
The perfect scheme for voting.
This method nullifies the stupid peoples vote.
1) Remove party affiliation from the ballot.
2) Remove party affiliation from all advertising and literature.
3) Randomly place the parties on each ballot.
This will make you vote null unless you research your candidates.
Whatcha think?
I think this will make you have to vote for your candidates based on your beliefs as they correspond to a candidate. |

There is no such thing as a foolproof system. Someone will just invent a bigger fool. Even if there were such a system, the idiots that run the county election boards still have to know how to count, and we know how much of a problem that is in certain "sunshine" states. |

Got to the polls at 5:55! There were about 20 people ahead of us. Got back home by 6:25!
My Vote Is Counted!!!!!
Easy touch screen, had 3 candidates (1 senate, 1 rep, 1 jp), 12 propositions and one ammendment.
Took my son, maybe he can get some extra credits in his Civics class!!! |

Ahh, but it does completely nullify stupid people. As for the counting thing since only people that vote with a little research will have their votes counted the rest of the votes will be cancelled out by random probability.
Personally I would like to see the death of parties all together. You should vote based on an individual politicians beliefs and they should be treated as individuals in government. This way they are not beholding to anything but their beliefs. Which should be clearly stated and readily available. Parties are just powerbases of the extreme. Were every one in congress an individual and the speaker of the house were elected by popular vote the best of the best would be selected. All votes would be brought to the floor on their own merrits not their political originations. |

Good point Epidemic, at least I nulified "1 stupid persons" vote! This is exactly the idea of voting, to have our voice heard. Who knows, my vote may have been the stupid vote after all is said and done. At least I took the time to study and go do it.
I agree with you about individuals. It would be nice to have a political system that is better, but for now, we'll just have to settle for the best..... |

It'll keep the Dems from rounding up bums to vote by bribing them with cigarettes. Or was that just urban legend? |

Epidemic, thats a great idea but not for totally stupid morons. They will just vote randomly in any case.
Your idea will get the moderate to less stupid people to vote after looking at issues or the positions taken by the people contesting.
Needs some thought and tweaking but it's a great starter. | |

Well currently the stupid do not vote randomly they vote as instructed by the ciggarrette dealing democrats. Muwhahahahaah.
The random placement of names insures that the stupid will statistically nullify themselves.
Hey you know what. That means florida would come out exactly 50/50 every time. |
