Plane Hijack Foiled

Just saw on TV- An Arab tried to barge into the cockpit of an EL AL (Israeli) airline plane enroute to Istanbul but was "subdues".

These terrorist acts seem to be increasing everyday. Wonder what will happen when the Iraq situation unfolds.

So, CM, are you saying the end justifies the means?

You may have noticed that life is not fair. There will always be the "haves" and the "have nots".

You will also notice that most, if not all, terrorists can trace their origins to the Arab world.

My point being that only the Arabs/Moslems react in this manner to their errr.....situation.

What say you?

I don't think it's so much the situation Shahani, as it is the upbringing. They are brought up to think killing, and dying for thier cause is right, and that terrorisim, and carnage is just the by product of promoting thier cause.

Living in the USA, I think we can't even comprehend this mindset. The land of opportunity doesn't require it of us, thank God

I'd just LOVE to interogate the man myself..no holds barred and get results not B.S. These guys aren't acting on their own and if can crack the infer-structure maybe we can catch them before the fact.

Angry

Anyone who would try to hijack an El Al flight single-handed with only a knife is obviously a looney. This isn't some al Qaeda-backed terrorist. This is just a lone looney who wanted some publicity.

Yeah, trying to hijack an El Al flight by yourself may not be the smartest thing.
Of course now on CNN the theories are coming up "He was on a 'Recon' mission for Al Qaeda" Riiiiight.
