Dear Friends.....

I am so sad to report this to you.

My beloved father passed away today at 1:00 PM PST, in his home in California. He had been fighting massive cancer in his lungs, bones, liver, and lymph glands. This was only discovered when he developed a rapidly growing tumor upon his neck about 3 months ago. The doctors pronounced his condition terminal one week ago this day.

We were with him constantly, caring for him right until the end. I held him and talked to him all through last night, as we fed him oxygen and he struggled to breathe. He went through a lot of pain, but mercifully, was peaceful at the very end.

He died in my arms.

(Here is part of the obituary I have just written for him: )

I'm really sorry to hear about that. Losing someone that close to you is so tough. You gave him everything though! Your father raised an awesome son! A son that would care about him that much! He must have been increadibly proud of you, and thankfull for having you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am so sorry to hear of this,Caddmannq.
Having lost my father under similiar circumstances 6 years ago,I really do know how you feel.At least he was able to be at home with a son and family who obviously loved him very much.
Get some rest, you'll need it in the coming days.
