| Death To The Habit! (A thread for Quitters) The time has come.... it's time to throw down and quit the tobacco habit. Let's join together and give support to each other, shall we?
I'll be "white-knuckling" all the way, but dammit, this smoking has got to stop....I am so tired of coughing my brains out....
I am so mad at not being able to sit for more than 20 minutes before having to go smoke.
I am so SICK of my dependance on this freakin' DRUG!
I am tired of smelling like stale smoke, and of having people being repelled by that smell!
I will not accept this anymore, and I will overcome my dependence on tobacco. I want to live.
I will quit doing this to myself, and I will succeed in doing so!
Only 4 more days...I will face it and succeed. No more jiving myself, this is IT. No more killing myself anymore. No more, no more. 30 years of it, well, there is always a new leaf to be found, and turned over. Life is in me today, and dammit, I will jolly well make my own tomorrow! Tobacco-freakin'-FREE! YEAH!! |

I don't know if I can quit right now, being on steroids and all, the last thing I need is to eat MORE, but when I'm done my rounds it'll be on the to do list. |

prexaspes, I'll take one of those!
I've been meaning to get a round tuet for quite some time now...

Knot, I'd love to join you, but it sounds like you're planning to go cold-turkey?
There's no way I can try that after the last time... (Takes too long to fix the walls...and for the knuckles to heal!)

When I was at work tonight, a young couple came up, and I smelled smoke on them. When I mentioned it to them, they were kind of embarrassed, but I think I actually got them thinking of quitting!!! Now for me............
(If the smoking doesn't kill me, my Mom will if I don't quit!)
