| hey peeps i need help (not mental)
hey peeps i need help with finding some info on the net or elsewhere.
i recently started work in a machine shop and i want to get some brownie points with my boss. he recently bought a new milling machine and it came with no manuals spec sheets or anything.
i have been trying to find anything on the net but so far all ive found is people selling similar machines. if anyone knows a sourc for manuals or specs or even has personal experiance they are willing to share please let me know.
the machine is a Bridgeport b-360/3d it has 2 heads (better than 1 I bet) each with a 2 horse motor mounted as a third head is a True Trace model 1090 Hydraulic copier. we pretty much know how to use the Bridgeport but the copier attachment has us baffled. im attaching a picture i found looking around just cuz its one mean looking machine. just imagine the case mods this baby could do. anyway if i can figure out how to use the dang thing it would definately help the raise outlook and add a little mroe knowledge to the old cranium thanx

Here is the main page to the Manufacturer- http://www.bpt.com/index.html . It looks like they might only list current/new products.... but an email to them might not hurt regarding the info you are requesting.
GoodLuck! |

You might want to send an email to Machinery Manuals Online and see if they have a manual for it. Quote: |

Contact us for your individual requirements by calling (714) 994-0578, fax us at (714) 994-0594 or e-mail us at sales@machinerymanuals.com Be sure to include the brand name, model number, approximate age and type of literature you need.

Man I haven't seen one of those since I ran one in the sixties......
Did it come with a hydraulic pump attached to it? If so and the pump works you should be able to turn on the stylus and move the table around by pushing the stylus around.
Check the fluid in the hydraulic tank.
Oh BTW these things were a nightmare to keep running when they were new so if you get it going you'll prolly have your hands full keeping it going.
