Yellow = Vass somewhere in there
there calling 8 to 10 inches. im hoping. just hoping it will hit!
supposed to start around 6 pm
either that the weathermen better hide from me.

They're calling for 4"-8" by midday tomorrow for me, Lynchmob, and maybe a couple others around there. (White box)

We got about 3 inches overnight, it quit around 1

I wish we had gotten 2x that much personally.Sure made some pretty scenery though

mwahahaha thankfully I just went grocery shopping a few days ago... those lines will be AWFUL for bread and bottled water

I guess because if you lose power and have meat and stuff in the fridge it could go bad. Where as bread is fine not refrigerated.
But along those lines if you lose power because of a snow storm, well it is cold enough then to put the stuff on the porch.

I never see anything but a cloud and flakes...

weather.com always seems to suck for showing accumulation...
I go to www.wunderground.com and they show a little bit more info

It's already snowing here (WNC). Were gettign something like 1/2 inches/hour. It started at 3. Weather Channel predicts 7. lol

i like hearing stories about NC drivers when it snows. where my sister lives everyone panics and buys everything from the stores. there are abonded cars all over the freeway. they were the ones that had no power for a week or so last month. but they don't have problems driving in the snow.....

Here in the mountains of Ga we dodged the bullet so far.
This morning the chill factor was -199F !
35mph wind @ 24F
No snow yet.

The coldest wind chill I experienced was in Chicago, winter of 1982--- -80F. The snow was dry like sand.
Hell on earth!!

I cannot believe we've only had about 2" of snow so far in Chicago!
It seems that all the storms have gone just south of us and then continued on NE and SE. I don't understand it but I think El Nino has something to do with it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
