If you are like me, you are looking at any site trying to get an estimate of how much snow we are going to get.

Yep and it sure looks like we may really get it this time!

I'm pretty sure this is where most the weather places get the weather.

It has lots of detail too...

ACCUMULATIONS BY THE PREDAWN HOURS OF MONDAY COULD RANGE FROM 2 TO 4
NEAR INTERSTATE 80...TO AS MUCH 6 INCHES NEAR AND TO THE SOUTH OF
    ROUTE 22.

SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BRING A FOOT OR MORE OF SNOW BY LATE
MONDAY...SHOULD THE CURRENT PROJECTED STORM TRACK ALONG THE NEW
    JERSEY COAST OCCUR.

Although I love snow and am happy that we could get a foot or more, it could not be coming at a worse time. I start my new job with Hershey on monday. Gonna make driving very interesting. Luckily I hve a friend that lives 15 min from the place so I can crash there if need be on Monday.

What?! No forecast for Southern Ontario? What kind of weather outlet are they.

Just kidding. I know it's the US Weather Service.

Thanks Surreal. Right now I don't know if I am nervous about starting at Hershey or driving in the snow on Monday.

Yes, it is. I still like typing .wz in the IRC channel and having the bot tell me the general forecast. The temperature is within 10F normally.

I don't mind driving in the snow, IF I had 4 wheel drive. Right now I have a front wheel drive toyota corolla with pertnear bald front tires.

When I had my blazer I was out driving in it all the time.

Today. Periods of snow. Becoming steadier and heavier this afternoon. Accumulation 2 to 3 inches by evening. Highs in the upper teens. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent.

Tonight. Snow. Additional accumulation 6 to 8 inches. Temperatures steady in the mid teens. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent.

korgul, since you have a friend there why not go this afternoon. As early as possible. You will have plenty of time and you will be ahead of the storm. You can stay with your friend and be fresh and ready for work in the morning..

If we do get 12-20 inches. Do you guys think that 20 bucks for a one car drive way, and 30 for a 2 car drive way is a good price?
how much do professional guys with trucks and stuff charge?
