Ann does the liberal radio show

This is TRULY some of her best work. Usually, I think Ann Coulter goes a little off the deep end, but this one hits the mark squarely. It is funny and accurate at the same time.

I just read it again. That article is the best I have ever read by her. I almost fell over laughing when I read the last paragraph. "shot down by a truck driver with a cell phone". !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberals just don't "get it". They're seemingly are not very bright people. They've already tried their hand at talk radio, multiple times over. They always have to close up shop because ratings suck because nobody wants to listen to them.

And now they complain that's not fair. Typical liberal BS.

Wow, that is good stuff!!

Hey, if the Liberals can find the sponsors, let 'em have at it. Of course, how many Democrats would listen is anybody's guess.

Theo is our resident liberal, and he's a pretty smart fellow. I think what drives people to be liberal more often than the issues is the arrogance of the conservatives.

There are exceptions to every rule. I don't think conservatives are arrogant. I think Republicans are. Democrats even more so.

The 90's saw the end of the Liberal talk radio. I used to listen to both of them however, apparently the liberal message did not seem to attract sponsors and listeners. They died of natural causes.

Conservative talk radio came into it's own due to media bias. I was hooked on it when I heard many of my hot issues being addressed. Prior to the LA riots I got all my news through the main stream liberal media. Then I heard a fellar named bob grand who stated something other than "we must understand the rioters". At that time IMO there were still more liberal talk shows then conservative.

Now there is a voice for conservatives. Rush although he is much to conservative on environment and abortion (and general support for republicans even when they do wrong reguarding conservative ideals) has put ideas out there that were simply not being addressed. He has been the fulcrum that has given the conservatives a voice and pushed liberals back on their heels.

Each of the extreme camps is arrogant.

The liberals think it is my way or the highway and seek to control the masses of poor stupid folks to teach them what is right. Aka they think that government needs to think for everyone.

Super conservatives believe their interperetation of the bible is absolute and correct and if you deviate from it you are wrong.

Well the truth be known neither extreme camp is right.

(conservative laws) I believe that self destructive moral laws should be stricken because they are your own business. Liberal laws such as ones which protect me from me should be stricken (seat belt laws for adults) if I want to jump out of an airplane with out a parachute that is my own dang business unless I land on someones house.

Financial aid (corporate and people welfare) with our tax dollars should be spent as if it was their last dollar and the spending of it was going to let their kid starve. Each payment should be scrutinized and alternatives always sought.

Both camps need to CTFB (Close The @#!king Border) and revamp citizenship standards. Jobs must be denied to illegals and citizen violators (aka employers) of these standards need to be punished. School and medical care should be extremely restrictive and attempts to acquire them should result in expulsion from the country. Children born to illegals need to be illegal themselves.

I am neither conservative nor liberal. I lean conservative because they hit more of my hot topics. However it is a razors edge.

Conservative leanings.

Self protection (rights of victims)

Smaller less invasive government

Strong penalties for criminal behavior (crimes against others)

Tort reform

Late term abortion (except under life threatening conditions)

Dont know which leaning this is.

abolish laws which protect me from me. (seat belt, helmet ...)

Immigration policy (used to be conservative) Now I do not know who the champion is.

My environmental beliefs fall somewhere in between the god will fix all environmetal problems and we need to save every tree and mosquito.

Equal rights. I believe that this is every ones . I think that the process should focus on fairness not favoritism.

Welfare (If you can work all efforts must be made by you and assistance shall be granted based on efforts)

Liberal leanings.

legalize drugs

abolish consentual sex laws in private.

Abortion (between me and my god)

Corporate welfare (bad sometimes) generally speaking companies should either fly or fail on their own merrits. (exception being companies with huge regional economic impact).

I like that last one about abortion. between me and my god. I think maybe I'll go on a mega-killing spree today and kill one or two hundred people. I'll probably come to the SouthEast USA to do it. Please don't try to stop me, It's none of your business. Really, it's just between me and my god. (Of course this is facetious, don't anyone get upset and call the police. I have a house to roof today, so I really wouldn't have time to drive all of the way down there and do all that )

jmebonner,
You see the difference in your arguement is that humans have wants, needs, desires, dreams, feel loss and potential.

A zygot does not exhibit many (it has potential and needs) of these defining characteristics any more than a finger or your apendix. Every sperm and egg produced has potential and needs heck recent scientific breakthroughs prove that every cell has potential. Depending on how early the termination happens you are at best killing a fish. That is unless you say there is a soul (wants, needs, desires, dreams, feel loss and potential). For that there must be either proof or it is basically your belief against mine. There is no uniform belief on this subject as to the soul. So it boils down to me against my god.

Your running around killing people is definitely taking away (wants, needs, desires, dreams, feel loss and potential). It is also virtually universally agreed upon that killing people for reasons other than self defense is wrong.
