Peeps with cell phones
Hey peeps, I need your help really badly.
I just got a cell phone (yay
). However, after less than a week of use I'm beginning to see troubles already. Here's what's up. I have a motorola v120c phone. In certain ckinds of daylight, like when it's sun down, and it's already dusk but still light enough to see, and in direct sunlight, the screen looks really weird. I don't know if I'm just really paranoyed, because I havn'e noticed if it did it from the beginning or has just started yesterday. It looks something like you looked art it through polarized glasses. The back of it is kind off unevenly distributed rainbowish style colors. However when I look at normal light, like right now with my room light on, it doesn't look any different, it looks normal. Also when the backlight is turtned on it doesn't look bad. So I don't know what's up, and that's why I'm looking for your advice on whether to worry and what to do if it's a broked ph0ne.

Well we know how you are LAF...
You're just paranoid!
I would call up the phone place where you got the phone and ask them. If you only got it a week ago, they should be able to replace it or repair it for you.

doc just told me that that's normal for LCD displays.......
to better explain the phenomena...you know how a colors are made when oil on road combines with water, that's the kind off look my display gets in certain light types.http://www.tekshome.com

Well is your phone supposed to do that?
If ANYTHING is wrong with your phone that you got a week ago, I suggest calling the place where you got the phone.

Does it change if you change the contrast and brightness setting? Some phones have that.

lost-and-found, I have that same phone. I think it's just the phone because mine does the exact same thing. Adjusting the contrast makes it a bit better, but not by much.
I think it might have to do with the clear plastic sheet that's in front of the lcd. It's a pain in the behind, but I've gotten over it.The difficulty is to try and teach the multitude that something can be true and untrue at the same time. -- Arthur Schopenhauer

Mine does that. I don't think it's anything to worry about unless it gets to where you can't see the screen.

I'd stay on the safe side and get it replaced.. it can't hurt after all. My phone did that once a few months ago.... I thinkk that was the last time I saw the sun..??
