| Clear Eyes + contact lenses = bad?
I've had these Clear Eyes Contact Lens Relief drops that say they rewet your eyes and reduce irritation, redness, etc., etc. I used them today with my contact lenses in and they seemed to lubricate the outside of the lenses fine, but the sides that touch my eyes got really dry and thus they stuck to my eyes...I practically had to pull them off forcefully to get them out. Anyone else had this experience? |

I completely stopped using Contacts because EVERY time I used the contacts at the end of the day I was near scraping the contacts off of my eye . I was using ReNu drops if I remember right (was a few years ago). Glasses aren't as dorky as they used to be, so I don't mind wearing glasses all the time now

i have worn contacts for years, eyedrops dont really help me.. if things start to get really dry, i put some cleaner solution in there, and rub the lens around with my finger, while its in the eye...
yeah yeah, not all that clean, but its fixed more problems then its caused in my experience ... if you wanna just spray it in your eye, i do that sometimes too..
summary: use the cleaning (soaking/rinsing) stuff instead of drops
it works for me

I wear contacts 16 hours a day (the cheapest 2 week disposables from WallyWorld $15.70/eye 3month supply, I stretch it a bit longer than that tho) Never have any problems with drieness really. If they do get dry I just hit em with the regular "juice". |

I used to sleep and shower in my contacts all the time. When they would begin to dry, I would use two or three drops of cleaner directly into the eye. Worked great.
However, my stigmatism (sp?) has gotten worse so I rarely wear them anymore. Mostly glasses.
The worst experience for me was putting them in after I put deodorant on. OUCH. |
