"How to Get Windows to run Stable"

Hmm... seems easy as long as you obey a couple of simple rules:

1> Do not make any hardware changes

2> Do not make any software changes

So as long as you never install any software, save data, or replace anything, it'll be just fine!

I still have never tried Linux...probably won't any time soon either.
My JAVA instructor is a Linux fan, she's always slamming us Windows uers...

Why would I want to use Linux over Windows?
Convince me to try it...

If you need convincing, you don't need to try, you'll be dissappointed.

It's just an OS. Not a new car. Not a delicious new crispy snack treat.

Could always try knoppix, seeing as it doesn't need to be installed *shrug*

Martoch, its different, its a challenge, and its just overall pretty cool
There's been a million arguments over this topic on Apps & OS's forum for a million more reasons

Still not sure of the point of this thread...

I have 5 machines running Windows and with proper care, ( updates , Norton utilities, ad aware, etc, They run quite stable , and have exceptions with only one machine( the only one with a bios update ) For a long time I had many problems but fouind out which programs to run and not to run. Norton Utilities are a MUST as well as setting up the computer for better performance. Even my XP laptop has had no problems after setting a new profile. You just can't expect Windows to run out of the box !!!!

configure your PC to be made of quality compatible hardware from companies that are known to upgrade drivers often.
