Thumbs down Gas at $3.19 @ gallon. Can't wait for summer!

While this is only one station, some people are actually paying the price. This is for regular unleaded. Premium is $4.29. I'm sure this is some kind of protest or political statement. But what's next?

Gas at El Cajon station jumps to $3.19

That's insane. You can make your own statement by going somewhere else.

I paid $1.55 last night. This is for Exxon regular.

Price at the Shell station right down the street is $2.21 @ gallon. My parents live 400 miles away in Prescott Arizona. Same gas from the same refinery in LA has to be trucked in and they are paying $1.70. We get ours from a pipeline and LA is only a 100 miles away. The taxes per gallon are just about the same. San Diego always gets screwed for some reason. I sometimes think we are the testing ground for seeing how much people will put up with when it comes to price gouging.

I'm paying $1.79 for 87 right now. I haven't put gas in the car for a while so I'm not sure what 93 is at. Probably like $1.95. It's usually not to expensive up here though for some reason.

I am sure there was a "dumb" male that didn't go across the street as well as the woman.

The real problem is the fact that YESTERDAY it was 10 cents cheaper than it is today.

Why is it going up so fast?? Anyone?

heh, the local Enmark did a 1-hour special that was posted in-store only...

$0.99/gallon for 87, $1.09 for 89, $1.15 for premium...They ran out of gas near the end of that hour

Right now it's around $1.50 around here...

It could be going up due to Spring Break. Lots of traveling going on in the SouthEast next week...
