I personally like the Glock. Many will have their own opinions, of course. S&W is probably the best revolver. |

Sig-Sauer P220, tritium night sights, Pre-ban. Carried in a DeSantis topcop paddle holster. What can I say, I'm a fan of .45 stopping power. |

BFG (biggest Finest Guns but we really know what they were getting at)
223 pistol. I do not know what it is like to shoot but I like the idea of it.
I personally shoot Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag for abuse.
I have a glock model 26 9mm good gun but I do not like the way the short little barrel shoots.
I also have a Thompson contender single shot W 223, 44, 357 scoped barrels. the 223 will shoot the left eye out of a flea at 40 yards. The muzzle flash will kill horse flies in a 3' radius around the barrel. |

Revolver - Smith 586 (blue) or 686 (stainless). Accurate, reasonably priced, you can shoot .38 special for fun or hot .357's for serious work.
Automatic - in .22 you can't beat a Ruger. In more significant calibers Glocks, Sigs, or the many 1911 style .45 autos are good.
Long guns - everybody needs a Ruger 10/22, Winchester model 94 .30-30, and Remington 700 in .308 or .06.
Shotgun - Remington 870 |

ruger arms, and remington for rifles. got a 280rem (ruger rifle)
savage striker pistols are awesome... have a few back home..
a 7mm08 308 and a 300wsm pistol
my dad and i have a few wheelguns as well a ruger 44mag stainless and 2 S&W wheelguns a 357mag blued and a 44mag blued.
i also have a blackpowder rifle a T/C Black Diamond 50cal inline
real nice rifle...but kicks like a mule..lol
and for a shotgun i have a remington 870 blued/composite stock 12Ga 3in Mag.
we have one semi automatic pistol in the house.
a springfield armory 1911a-1 45ACP
shoots EXTREMELY well and never jams
But like I said before, Ruger or Remington for rifles.
Personally i dont own enough semi auto pistols to give you a good idea..but if you wanna try a wheelguns you gotta go with S&W. they make some of the best wheelguns around.Ruger is great to but their sights are kinda fudgy on the pistols.
