I know NOBODY is going to believe this, but I AM REALLY jameswillamor! And then I happen across this board, and I see MY NAME on posts I have never made?!?! What's up with this!? Please explain to me what's up? Here's all I know...
YEARS ago I made a silly little post on a website, sysopt or something like that, as a joke. Well I never went back to the site untill a year later when I got an email "James you are famous" or something like that. So I made a post again on there, saying I thought it was funny all the posts on this silly topic. THEN, a year or so later, I come across THIS website, and there's somebody with my JAMESWILLAMOR name posting things I have never posted!?!?! Impersonating me?!?! What's going on here? I really am James Willamor, and if you really want to know you can email me at jameswillamor@yahoo.com Somebody please tell me what's going on?!?! http://www.techimo.com/forum/t31785.html http://www.xtremepccentral.us/forums...ad/t-1850.html |

Well, since you have an unique IP address for our forum database, I will entertain an answer.
Without getting into the whole story, TechIMO was developed by the same people that originally developed SysOpt. User names are not reserved in any case, so someone from SO thought it would be funny to carry over the hamster thread to TIMO.
BTW, many SO and TIMO forum members hang out at XtremePcCentral. You can probably find references to the SO hampster thread at Romulus2 and many other sites as well.

Some members even pay respect to the hamster.

Well, I just went back to the Sysopt site, and I could still log in under my old name jameswillamor, though it took me a minute to remember that old password. I thought it would be funny to repost my original thread, have fun with it: http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthre...hreadid=135876 |

Well, unless this happens to be an admin from SO (not likely), the new post he linked to at SO is under the original jameswillamor account.
Seems we may have the legitimate hamster guy this time around.
