First time I ever watched RC was on SciFi's 3am sunday anime block; that should take ya' back a few years.
On a similar note, what was everyone's first ever anime experience?
I believe Voltron was the first anime I ever watched. BTW, the new Voltron manga/comic will hit the shelves in May.Robert Richmond | Infinite perceptions. One reality.

Mauris was the first anime movie I ever saw. It was also the worst anime movie I have ever seen
My aunt gave it too me last year, i sold it to my neibhor who seems to like the old-school type anime.

I guess my first one was probably Transformers. Watched and worshipped it when I was a kid back in China. I still have bucketloads of those toys, the ones with that kind of decal that you can rub.
I also saw Ninja Turtles, Saint Seiya, and Robotech back then, around the same time period.
And also Slam Dunk, when I went back to visit in 98. That show was pretty funny.

i used to watch that when i was little.. if you want to count it as anime, its my first too.. ..but i dunno, american tv is evil, even if its cool and they turn into cars
and pokemon is the tool of the devil.. havnt you seen those anti pokemon sites?

Hearing some these titles, you people are starting to make me feel old......
None ever see Urusei Yatsura, Endless Road SSX, or Cyborg 009 Super Galaxy? Then again, I grew up on anime, back in the 80's when it was not popular in the US.Robert Richmond | Infinite perceptions. One reality.

yeah, i kinda gotta place a stick in the fire for Neon Genesis Evangelion *looks at avatar*
Very superb, and leaves many questions to be asked, and gives you lots of junk to look up on fansites and see the controversy, fun fun.
SPIRITED AWAY & PRINCESS MONONOKE, both very good, i need to grab my princess mononoke dvd and watch it again, its lots of fun to experience...
now if only i had a 5.1 or better sound system

Astroboy

A little late, but my old favorites are
Star Blazers
Vampire D
Fist of the North Star
I also remember one about 5 crew members that were part of a blue ship that would purposely catch on fire in flight and then turn into a phoenix bird in the sky....that was a good one too!
