| So I'm in line at Dunkin Donuts......
Just saw/heard the lamest thing. DD Lady: "May I help you" Dork customer: "Only if you can stop the voices in my head" Ok, this was fine, not really funny anymore but , whatever...then he goes on remember the other t-shirt he must have just seen.... and cleverly links the 2 together DD Lady "um okay" Dork "You can't hear them?" trying to keep it going so that he can get to his next line before he forgets it DD Lady "No *half-hearted smile*, What can I get you?" Dork "You're just jealous cause the voices are talking to me"
You may have had to have been there, but it was the lamest attempt at being "the funny guy" I have ever seen....
*predicts this thread will turn into a DD sux thread |

Large regular for me, Medium Decaf for my wife, and a choc donut for my son.
I bought the 2lbs for $10 also while there, but I have a feeling it is the extreme heat that i like so much about their coffee, and not the coffee itself. |

I miss coffee shops. I moved from a town that had a coffee shop every 1/4 mile (really, there were six of them along the 1.5 mile stretch of road between the highway and the college), to a place where they don't exist at all. I was in St. Louis yesterday and stopped at a Starbucks. I ordered a medium with cream and no sugar. It was too hot to drink right away, of course, so I waited 15 minutes or so. Then when I finally tried it, it was so sweet it was more like candy. Plus it was full of coffee grounds.
Am stupid me, I even tipped the guy before leaving.
Just goes to show that there are dunces behind the counters, too.

I stopped growing about 10 years ago so .....
She was alright looking.....maybe it was his delivery (barely let her speak because he couldn't wait to get out the next line), but reciting bumper stickers is so cheap.
Now if he had asked if she had a mirror in her pocket.............THAT would have been funny. |
