contacts are great, nothing beats the sophisticated look of glasses though. i always wear my glasses to interviews. they tell you wear the contacts for a week, take them out overnight, then wear them for another week then through them away....yeah, i dont think i have ever taken them out after less than 2 months. i had contacts in for well over 6 months. and when the doctor asks how i lasted 1.5 years with a 6 month supply, i tell him i wore my glasses a lot |

Don't get me wrong Jacob, I think I have a very nice shade of brown for my eyes, but I kinda wanted a change. (According to CE, he can almost tell my mood by the color of my eyes, he says they change........... )

I have my tearducts plugged---
Glasses are getting more expensive---(last pair I replaced cost $350+, titanium, no line multicoated trifocals)
At the same time, Lasik surgery is getting cheaper---ive seen it as cheap as $299 per eye with 20/20 or better results---wont be long glasses will not be worn by you and I--- |

I buy my contacts from Wally World. $30 for 6 pair. They are supposed to be 2 week disposables, but I routinely stretch it to 6-8 weeks. Pretty cheap.
I wear them close to 16 hours a day most days about 5 days a week.
I intend on having surgery once they get all the long term implications figured out. |

How much does the surgery cost?
Ahh 16 hours a day? I figured you'd be able to wear them to sleep now. |

I think the surgery comes in at around $1,500 an eye.
Sleeping with my contacts in is the only thing that kills my eyes. At that point they dry out. Taking them out is no big deal. |
