Hans Blix: I was smeared by Pentagon

A very undiplomatic interview with the retiring (in both senses) UN arms inspector.

interesting article...he really shouldn't have been so blatant, but i can understand his frustration. everyone was pushing him one way or the other for almost completely political reasons when he should have been given support to just do his job.

Exactly, people were using anything he said as proof for their side (for or against invading Iraq). I feel sorry for him actually.

I have no respect for persons in high profile positions who only find their balls when they know they have nothing to loose.

I can only assume that he knew that Iraq was nothin more but dust plains littered with old ammo and was trying to make that point to the someone but all fell on deaf ears. Now, once the OIL is rolling, they need a scapegoat for their misinformed intel !

But, I could be wrong. Or dead and my reply-post deleted by CIA ops.

Profanity is profanity whether it's spelled correctly or not. It still reads the same.
The same applies to abbreviations of profanity. Please be considerate to all readers when posting here.
