    isnt ther kind of a program that turns pictures into those ascii things? i think i saw that in linux once

    yeah, there are lots of progs to do it. For this one i used an mIRC plugin called bmp2html

    so i noticed a lot of extraneous letters in there all the way up to 'z'. Guess that matrix isn't hexadecimal...must be like - dodecadecimal or something! (or whatever base 36 is called)
