I noticed it slow too. I blamed it on our network.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... oops, sorry... I fell asleep waiting for the reply screen to show up.
Hey OuTpaTienT, maybe your pipe is full of Santa Smilies... Gossimer's been pretty busy chucking them out of here since last December!

It's been pretty spotty for me too OuT. When that happens I visit my other sites and then check back later.

I think out has spread the germs cause I had no problems till after I replied
actually till after I logged back on now it seems to be taking forever to get threads to open

Yeah it's bad right now. The last week I have been having issues here and there.

I haven't noticed anything slow. I'm on Opera though so all the images are only loaded once.

Hmmm. It also seems that there are no mods around and haven't been since before 9am this morning. How do I know that? Because this thread is still open. If a mod sees that thread it will surely be locked, and probably deleted. Plus I reported it at the same time I made my reply to it, so even if invisible mods were around they should have handled it by now.

Seems fast enough for me Down Yonder ATM. Have had some rather slow periods in the last few days though.

That spam threads still open, OuT. If you used the report button, that's pretty unusual.

The spam thread has been closed. I do not receive "report to moderator" emails, but if someone wants to report a thread while I am logged on, feel free to send me a PM.
As to performance, earlier today was a little sluggish, but the site is working perfectly fine right now, atleast for me.

Since Surreal is away for a few days, might need to PM Rob a bit more for problems if he doesn't get the report button stuff.
Cheers

here you can see a comparison of the 7850 vs GTX 570 (GTX 560 Ti 448 is reduced spec 570, so the 448 Core would be close to the 7850 in performance, if not just behind it a hair): AnandTech |...
