Hilary Duff
My name is Ron and I am 32 years old and single. My co-workers think I have a problem of being obsessed with Hilary Duff. I hear her music all the time on the radio (RadioDisney AM1470), and I see her auctions on eBay all the time. They know that I am in love with Hilary Duff and will skip any real women (due to their imperfections) to be with her.
Yes, I know that she is 15 years old, a fact that all men seem to know (hmmm). I would like to marry her now (while she is relatively undiscovered by most men) and then move in together with her in 2.2 years. No, I don't want to have sex with her, I just want to be with her. A lot of people think I'm weird now, but in 2.2 years, no one will be second-guessing me. It's incredible how her face looks so mature. I only think she'll get even better over time.
When I try to explain my fascination with her, people keep saying it's because she's blond and voluptuous, and I always say that that is coincidental. She is a future triple threat in the entertainment business. She already does movies, music, and will be doing TV on the WB soon. And she'll have her own clothing line (like J.Lo) soon too.
If I recall right, I know that true love knows no boundaries, even that of age. I am willing to wait for her.
So, is this a normal crush, like I believe it is, or do you think like my co-workers about how it is wrong to think about a young girl like her? And will it make a difference 2 years from now?

You're probably too short for her.

That's not creepy at all, she's beautiful. It's mostly creepy when older guys like women that actually LOOK like they are 15. Hilary Duff looks much older than she really is.

Ablang, I think it's about time you grow up - stop dreaming about those pop singers and find yourself a real woman.

Yeah, well, I'd run away with Michelle Branch if she asked me too, but that's not all too likely either. I actually have a fairly decent chance of meeting her, but that would be through a future girlfriend, so the "running away" part, not gonna happen. Yeah, Ablang, there's plenty of booty well within your reach. Go for what you can grab today.

Work on your body then work on your personality and you'll become a chick magnet. The body to get them to talk to you and the personality to keep them talking to you

So far I have 1 of the 2, flatter me and take a guess which one

July 17th, 2003, 12:59 PM #9Love is two sided though. If she loved you back that would be a different thing, but I think you should really look for love in a women closer to your age. Right now you could trash your life by being obsessed with her. Duff is going to get married to some college grad sometime and your going to be left alone. Instead of focusing on her I think that you need to focus on the beautiful and amazing women around you so they aren't fuzzy shapes but you can see them for who they are (beautiful and amazing people). If I recall right, I know that true love knows no boundaries, even that of age. I am willing to wait for her.
I'm not going to argue that Duff is hot, and probably a really nice person but I think if you miss out on the women around you at this stage you could hit 40, realize your life is half over and you don't have a wife to love, or a boy to play baseball or teach computers to and a girl to watch at her dance lessons.
Give this some major thought, cause your giving up a hell of a lot for an image of someone.Last edited by Bob The Great; July 17th, 2003 at 01:02 PM.

How can anyone stand that girl? She plays the exact same character with a different name in EVERY movie. She's so annoying, she's like the valley-girl of all valley-girls. UGH and all that make-up!! *puke*

Yeah but without the makup and good hair job she looks fantastic. Heck, you can make almost any woman look real good with the right hair style and lighting

So ablang, are you going to the Duff concert at Arco?
She's on tour? Pure madness.

I must be out of the loop or something. I have never watched or listened to a single work she has done.
Anway, doesn't this thread belong on the heading "Jail Bait"?
Is there a problem with this strategy? Some people are just not cut out to deal with a family. I have enough problems, I certianly don't need a family to complicate my life anymore.you at this stage you could hit 40, realize your life is half over and you don't have a wife to love or a boy to play baseball or teach computers to and a girl to watch at her dance lessons.

Honestly? A tad creepy. Okay.. so maybe just a smidgon above a tad creepy. But, whatever floats your boat. As long as you're not out there trying to pick up 15 year olds who happen to "look" mature for their age... Well... yes.So, is this a normal crush, like I believe it is, or do you think like my co-workers about how it is wrong to think about a young girl like her? And will it make a difference 2 years from now?
In two years it'll probably be a little bit less creepy... But at least your co-workers would no longer be able to make the ol' "pedo" argument, and may even consider allowing you around their children.
Good luck with all that.

Ablang... you got a problem, it's alright to like the looks of someone, but you know it stays there, you don't know her, i don't care if you seen everything and read everything about her and all, you just don't know her.
Get it out of your head, and keep your eyes open for someone that you like for their personality.

Lucky if it has Win7 as opposed to Win8, I suspect. How does Win8 compare performance wise to Win7 on the same laptop? Just as responsive, better or a dog like Vista?
