Straight male here...... I disagree. It made me a bit sick. MTV is a complete ratings whore, what can they possibly do next? Nothing more needs to be said about Madonna and Britney. You as a consumer shape the market, you decide what you want. People will buy Britney because she's a lesbian slut now and she can get away with mediocre music. MTV isn't onto anything new here, they're just stepping on the porno industry's toes. Now who knows how many 12 year old bra stuffing britney fans are imitating her super cool lesbian kiss

TV in general is headed for the toilet, just watch, or better yet, don't.

Why is this such a big deal, there has been other females kissing females and no one really made a big stink? It was 2 seconds! get off your homophob fears and move on.

of course this was to get people worked up. Points to Madonna, Spears, and Christina.

I'm going to agree with GZ3 on this one... It's not like they were ripping clothes of one another. (Although I can't say that I would have really complained.

) It's also not like they were making out with one another either.

Have you seen some of the stuff that isn't shown in the U.S.?

Everyone has to remember who owns MTV. They aren't going to show anything too outrageous.

i wouldnt have complained either Mike. I saw the video again to see maybe i missed something, because its all over the news. I was expecting them to be having sex on the stage. and when i saw it was just a kiss. i was like WTF? Grow up and move on.

Well they definetely got a lot of media coverage over it.

It was good shock value. No one expected to have Madonna kiss Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera...

Homophobe implies that I fear gays which I don't, but I can dissaprove if I wish. Maybe I'm just sick of cable networks because they've given up on shows that may require some thought to produce and are now in a race to see who can shock the #$&% out of me first.
