What do you use broadband for?
I don't have the pleasure of using broadband, so I was wondering what the rest of you guys use broadband for? And do you get saturated with it?
If I had it, I would probably use it to get complete music albums (mp3s) and download music videos that I don't have time to wait on VH1 and MTV for.

music, videos. Being too lazy to search through disk to find update/utils and downloading them each time you install.
But mainly for staying up late.

everything you do online is usually a lot faster so the frustration level is so much lower and it makes me happy

The movies are almost always horrible quality. They're just barely watchable on my 17in monitor. I'll bet they look even worse on a 19 or a 21. For those of you that dl movies....where from. They all suck on morpheus. The only decent one I've come across yet was 600mb in size in one file.
Most I've dl'ed are split in two files and are about 125mb each.

Sharing a broadband connection is faster than dial-up, faster page loads, and quick download speeds on the very few downloads I do.

I download off of KaZaa and had no probs with quality, but KaZaa is the Euro version of Morph and has alot of spyware attached to the downloading utility.

morpheus is great, but for quality you probably would want to try the good old IRC, using mIRC client i guess. more work, but you can find peeples with quality collections to trade for whatever it is, games progs...

A broadband connection hmmm… Team Fortress Classic, music, application downloads and the satisfaction of surfing the net at high speeds.

Broadband just speeds up everything from simple browsing to email to downloading win2K drivers for your gamepad. And for gaming, especially in FPS games it can make the difference between actually being able to play or just kind of getting an idea what it would be like to actually be able to play online. I tried to play UT online with a 56K connection once... you might even get a frag if you load six rockets into your rocket launcher and shoot in the generall vicinity of where someone else might be in 5 seconds. (Sarcasm?? What's that?!

Gaming
Also, downloading program patches and drivers is so much better on broadband. You don't start it walk away for 30 mins.

Just because I can. I love to surf. Clicking on a link and have it pop up almost like it was on my hard drive is beyond what I imagined. I absolutely could not go back. My cable here in Vancouver, Wa. blows the doors off DSL at work in Portland, Or. AOL on the phone line sucks real bad. Never go back. Downloads, updates, drivers, you name it. Never go back. Don't care if it is twice the $$$. Did I mention I'd never go back?
