    Hmm. The population of Italy is around 57 million. So EVERYONE in Italy has at least one espresso per day and 23% of the population has two? Something doesn't add up.

    I suppose a third of the population could be drinking three or four each per day. Talk about serious caffeine addicts.

    If you subtract out babes in arms and catatonics, it's probably three or four espresso/person/day.
