Hmm her dad (ukranian) says "kashka" is grain, but maybe there is a dialect in there that maybe a confusion.
See the thing is, her friends grandma called him kasha when he was a child and he wanted to know what it meant. Maybe there is a another usage of the word. I thought maybe Golden Boy or something lol
(wheat being gold)
Or there could be a spelling thing in there as well... *shrug* the world may never know
"Kashka" is the same as "Kasha", it's just a way of saying the word more gently, grandmas like to speak that way. And if her name ends with "ka", she had quite good reason to call her this way
