So, what does it mean when I've already made $8000 over my projected yearly income? |

ohhh
Thats pretty cool
I was wondering what I make an hour.
Usually I think its a safe bet if you make 30 a year, you make 15 an hour.. so half the primary number (for a rough guesstimate that is)

I'm supposed to make that much?!! Wow.
Too bad I loose about 40 or more percent of that to the good ol' government who then takes some more once a year because I don't have enough to put into tax offsetting things.

But the problem is having enough to put toward it to even make it noticable on the income tax form. Like the medical expenses that can be claimed, they have to exceed a certain percentage of your taxable income before they would even be worthwhile putting on.
For example, my income tax for 2005 required $1800 worth of medical expenses before it was a noticable amount. Luckily (depending on your point of view ) between my wife and I we exceeded that so it was worthwhile to put it on.
I thought any interest earned on investments was taxable? Unless you're using tax sheltered investments (like RRSP). Even interest you make on your bank account, if it's high enough has to be claimed.
