Kudos to the mods approving pictures in the gallery

This has been probably the first time ever that I submitted a couple images that have enjoyed a decent run on the front page of TechIMO (a few days). In the past it was always just my luck that right after I submitted a photo some schmoe would then upload like 32 low resolution images of the sun, or 14 different views of a ribbon cable and all those photos would just knock me and everyone else off the front page.

So whatever method you guys are using now for approving images in the gallery, it seems to be working. Keep it up.

Definately provides some incentive to check out the front page, instead of jumping directly to the forum section.

Nice, as soon as you did that, people flooded it. Am I the only one that remembers when there was a thing that made it so there was only one picture per member on the front?

Now, that's not fair Martick. If I wanted to do as you say then I would've provided links to my photos like this & this. Or maybe even a link to my entire gallery. But you may notice I did none of those.

Oops. I may have spoke too soon. One has to seriously question why they'd approve this for the front page. Which of you is responible for that?

Well, we have no rule against submitting Anime or games shots ..
We always approve them ... i try to keep a timing balance for each member to keep his photos on the font page for a while.
Mass uploads are not be approved (no more than two photos and third will be deleted. That's how how i'm doing it lately.

Till this moment i can't manually choose which photos go to the Front page and which not ... if i could do that, you wouldn't be seeing such a photo there.

Edit: on a second thought, i deleted that image!!

Oh, now I thought you guys could choose which ones go to the front page and which ones don't. In that case I guess no one can be blamed, except the one who uploaded the image.

Hopefully, I even asked who approved the pic in the pic's comments...that was just plain nasty!

Sorry OuT, you're right...you didn't link to any of your pics or even your gallery...oh wait, now you did!
