After that first touchdown by the Panthers i was a little dishearted, but Eagles are making a good drive downfield now...E-A-G-L-E-S!
EDIT: McNabb is down now....
F'ing panthers, that hit was 3 seconds after McNabb is down, and now not even a penalty....bulls**t....

Sorry guys, I'll have to be the odd man here. I'm rooting for Carolina only because Jake Delhomme is a Breaux Bridge boy (Just down I-10 between Lafayette and Baton Rouge for you non-cajuns... ).
Was a brilliant quarterback back when he played for the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) back when I was a freshman there. Didn't think he would make it this far! |

I'm rooting for Carolina as well. I really wanted the Eagles and Colts in the Super Bowl. This year just wasn't a very good year for me, guessing football games.
Hopefully the NFL watches and hands out a fine on that play. It appeared that it was just a cheap shot to try and hurt McNabb. |

The reason it wasn't a penalty was due to the officials not blowing the whistle because they were not sure if he had been down by contact or not. Therefore no late hit, no penalty. Reported by ESPN.

Back to the drawing board for the Eagles. Maybe they can draft an offensive line to protect McNabb. |

Quite frankly, the Eagles have investeed too much in McNabb to get anybody. It's not that he's not a worthy athlete. He's a very worthy athlete. But he takes too much payroll. The other positions are going to go underserved. |
