who knew??
me and the rube had a 25 year anniversery party last june. i just found this pic of the sign out front.

after we announced our "engagement" our friends(consisting 95% of bikers
) didnt give us 6 months before seperation and divorce. and who could blame them,by the way the two of us carried on.
hence the "who knew"
now to see if we can hit 50 years

You could make a fortune, by writing a book and publishing it for the rest of us that are slowly moving past 2-3 years of marriage. Wow, congrats are in order.

January 30th, 2004, 10:56 AM #10i agree, mick. but if you saw how we acted toward each other while "in our cups",i have a feeling you would have agreed with our friends.Originally posted by Mickwish

we both were in the depths of alcoholism for the first 4 years of married life. and life sucked.
people would see us come into the bar together and they would leave, for trouble followed us like the plague.it was an insane time of our lives,to put it extremely mildly.
thank God we both found sobriety, for i dont think we would have made it to 5 years without dire consequences.
anyway, enough of that ol`crap from the past.. i m just happy to be married to such a "jewel"
and many thanks to all the wellwishers in this thread.
brad and pat(or is it pat and brad??) i m sure she ll straighten it out later after she reads this!
