Heh. Im buddhist. But its not really just a religion. Its more of a way of life. OR how one should live to get the most from it. Thought process, how to channel anger away. Stuff like that. It about being enlightend to the ultimate truths. Its more than religion and some wont even call it that. Because it is and isnt. For instance. The senses were somthing found by buddhist's. The senses were found by scientific study process. Yet science only looks at humans in ONLY the biological sense. Buddhism looks at humans as a entitiy and entire being. Spiritual and biological. How many other religions accept and EMBRACE science? K. Next thing. How many religions allow one of that faith to question ANYTHING they are told without it being sacralige? Most want you to believe if not for fact-out of faith. But Buddhism, if you dont believe somthing, question it. Even a teacher or monk or whatever. ASK. You should believe cause somthing makes sense to YOU not just cause so and so said it. This is a very important part of buddhist teachings and principles. THat you wont find elsewhere. Acceptence that they dont have all the answers, that there is no ONE religion more valid then another. Or one being more worth then another.

its one of the contridictions of the bible. Its like Mosses comes down from the burning bush with the Mighty words of god. (little sarcastic). Now I dont know the exact words anymore to quote. But it said along the lines of how God doesnt want man to worship idols in his name or in a false image of him. Mosses SMASHED the idol for this and the tablet! Yet they have jesus strung on a cross, prophets on the walls. Hmmm. The Golden Idol was smashed for this. Yet man insistantly does it to this day. Not more than days after god gave him this command MAN breaks it. Why didnt he want idols worshiped in his name? Hmm cause ya can charge for people to come and see it. TO get into heaven. Profiting off god.Which is what was done for centuries before and well after too! The jewish bath houses for cleansing sin are another example. In the day of Christ one had to bath in a jewish bath house to enter the temple free of sins. WoW surpirse they charged $ for it AND wouldnt allow you to enter without bathing. They got filthy $. Hmmm..most religion escapes any and all logic and therefore contridiction is only second nature! Yet when asked the outwardly spoken religious fanboys just stop talking. Why? Cause your just supposed to have blind faith and never ever question anything! Blind faith in what? Your misinterpitation of a rewritten bible and words spoken that arent quoted. Show me all of what CHRIST said ? Quoted! K how about god. K. How come you feel free to speak for both constantly yet dont even know wha tthey said or what they want? You cant even listen to these words of god right after they are given supposedly by mosses. Why 2000 some years later is it to be more correct? Like God is all forgiving, yet punishment for some sins is eternally damned. If you are Christian or Catholic and have had sex in any way but man in dominant postion Missionary style you have sinned. PATHETIC! Not only is the bible at times contridictive but its sexist. But its accepted as O.K. cause its"old". Yep and not what it was in the original either. How many times you can rewrite without killing what it was? How many times can you contradict yourself till ya sound stupid? O.K. off soap box. These are just my opinions and Im allowed to them. I hav entohing against anyone of any religion. Follow what you want. I just hate double talk. No matter who's doing it. That and when folks/religions try to speak for god's behalf.

im an agnostic. its not really something you can "practice", but to me its the only religion that logically makes any sense at all. i wouldnt really even call it a religion, its just a system of beliefs.

I'm not really interested in religion...I like the teachings of the Zen masters and their riddles. The religion of the mind is very interesting to me.

Honestly though, I voted "other" above for the real reason that people in the USA (and those who have it) worship MONEY

I do not follow any religion, they are all bad in my eyes. The only one that I would consider following would be Buddhism, but I couldn't be a true Buddhist, so I am not one.
