No!!! We Can't See Another Bare Boob!?!?
What was so terrible that now they're not allowing live shows?NEW YORK (CNN) -- CBS announced Tuesday it will broadcast Sunday's Grammy Awards ceremony with an "enhanced" tape-delay system, an apparent effort to avoid a repeat of the Super Bowl halftime show in which Janet Jackson's right breast was displayed live to a national television audience.
Heaven forbid we see another bare breast!!
(I'll bet the French and other Europeans are going to laugh us to scorn.)

No big deal to me, the Grammy's are a waste of time anyway. Just another popularity contest.

What was so bad about it? It lacked a little something called tact. IMO, it was harmless in the grand scheme. But in the context of the event and viewership itself, it was patently inappropriate.
I don't blame CBS -- or any other network -- for utilizing an extended delay. They're probably tired of having to deal with the FCC every time some mentally defective celebrity wants to execute some brilliant new marketing ploy.

Guys, guys...the human body is a beautiful thing, particularly when it comes to women...let them show what they want to show, if you don't want to see it you do have the ability to look away, don't you?

In Sweden you're allowed to have sex with your cat. Should we permit that, too?

Hey osprey. I wasn't aware that there's no law against that sort of thing here. There should be one IMO. But what makes you think that our morals are lower than yours though, if that's what you do think? I actually don't believe there's any difference between European and American morals per se. There are so many levels of morals in both, that it is impossible to set a "moral standard" for the entire continent.
Why do artists do this kind of thing? Well maybe has something to do with the fact that [b]their music stinks[b] and there's no other way to get people interested in them...

I grew up in Germany and there in the EU the human body is a human body... and every one has one! i guess it goes back to the idea of seeing the human body as a work of art as Martoch has so eloquently stated before

There is a difference between nudity and perversion.
If my kids catch me in the bathroom coming out of the shower that is nudity.
But watching the EU equivelent to friends pawing eachother on the 4:30 move or what not I find that wrong.
Grabbing a strangers breast with such force as to rip an article of clothing off is a perversion of the human body.
I would not be at all offended if during her dance she accidentally was exposed. Oh well kids tough nuggies. But to couple it with an act that even in the context of their performance was against her will is wrong and perverted.
I do not want my kids exposed to that kind of moral depravity. I do not mind them seeing a woman on the discovery channel who is naked.
For me this is not about the nudity it is about what they intended to portray.

Really, there is good boob and there is bad boob. I don't think anyone can argue with me when I say that Janet looked like a crack whore. Also MTV are whores, the fact that they claimed it was an accident was BS. Something tells me Justin had his "apology" planned even before the game started. Seeing Janet's boob was horrific, it sure took away the specialness of boobs for meGuys, guys...the human body is a beautiful thing, particularly when it comes to women...let them show what they want to show, if you don't want to see it you do have the ability to look away, don't you?
