| Forgot password Need help hey everybody im an idiot and i forgot my redhat password/ and username
i have 4 possiable usernames but forgot password
{this is what happenes when you install an os at 3 am} |

| If you have the root password login as root and change the password of the other user. |

| Yeah, i.e. to change the password of the user "foobar" you would type (as root) and if you forget the root password too, boot into runlevel 1 either by passing "single" or "1" as an option on the kernel command line.
Then you get a root prompt and can do whatever you want.
