    Need help installing Programs

When I try to install stuff like my ATI drivers it keeps saying that it conflicts with something else and won't let me go any further. Also, for games like UT2004, how the hell do I install those. The file ext is .run.bz2 ... after i type tar -xvf/path to file/filename enter the file comes up just a .run . What the hell am I doing wrong here

For the ati drivers you might have to use rpm --no-deps or --force to get it to install.

For ut2k4 you have to make sure the .run file is executable so type "chmod a+x whatever.run" then type "./whatever.run" and it'll run the install program.

Well, before you use --force or --no-deps I would suggest figuring out or asking about the conflicts
