problem with openSUSE internet configuration
Hi I am having some problems configuring openSUSE for
the internet and I would like to know if anyone knows a
link to a guide that can help me. One more thing, I should mention is that on the screen it said server is not
found. I hope some one could help me out.

One question, is Opensuse recognizing the modem in YAST? Are you able to test the modem via a terminal and make sure everything is configured correctly?
Theres no place like 127.0.0.1!

I want to make this short and simple. I can not post a reply to your request because it is not related to the topic. Therefore, I will not post anything more in this thread. What you could do is to make your own thread,
and post the information that you or other people have.
P.S. The topic was about opensuse internet trouble-
shooting.I forgot to add that since I solved the problem,
there is no need and reason to continue this thread.Last edited by gpx82; January 10th, 2007 at 02:11 AM.

As if letting us know how you fixed the problem that spawned the thread would somehow be off-topic...
IOW - blew out Linux and went back to Windows -lol
