Fresh Install of OpenSuse 10.2
ok basically i just installed 10.2....went smoothly, then it finished install, restarted, appeared to be booting up, then just turn off....now if i turn it back on it does it again and again every time i do it...i dont know what to do?

roll back to opensuse 10.1? Could be a conflict with your hardware somewhere. I'm sorry I don't know much about linux but depending on how seriously you use it, rolling back may be your easiest solution!

you could try to disable acpi and pcmcia support. I know acpi can cause a LOT of conflicts! That would require a reinstall though!
