Successfully installed D.S.L. on an old laptop
And damn if I ain't proud of myself for it.

1995-vintage Dell Latitude XPi, P75, 24mb ram, 1.3gb HD and no cd-rom. Got the thing going using only a floppy disk, a parallel-port Zip drive and about 4 hours of cursing. Who'da thought a liveCD distro would be difficult to intall without a cd...
And it boots. And it actually works pretty well. Hell, I even got the power management working. I prolly broke something important when messing around with the Grub config file, but I'm not going to think about that until I boot it up again.
Man what a PITA that was...
