Where to find BASH history file?
I'm using Ubuntu and I need to be able to locate the bash history files. I thought it would be in my user file but not able to locate. I know its there because when using commands the up arrow will fill the last command used at the prompt. Or am I confusing that with something else. A google search turns up ~./.bash history but no such file found. and bash_history turns up no file found. Anyone have a clue for me? Thanks for any ideas.
