fc8/gnome users?

Hey guys. I just found a bug on fedora core 5 here at school and they were interested to see if it still exists on fedora core 8. Rather having to install and test it out, I was wondering if there are any fc8/gnome users who could test this out and let me know if the bug still exists. If not I'll just download fc8 and test it myself but ehh...why not try to be lazy first lol.

to recreate bug:

1)create a text file on the desktop
2)open the file in gedit - minimize gedit
3)delete the file off the desktop w/ the file still open
4)hit ctrl+alt+del and try to log off
5)GNOME will now lock up if the bug exists.

Just hard reset and everything goes back to normal.
