    openSUSE 11.0 Alpha 2 Announcement

The second alpha test release of openSUSE 11.0 is now available. Features include KDE 4.0.1, Gnome 2.21.90, Linux 2.6.24 kernel core, OpenOffice.org 2.4 beta, ALSA 1.0.16rc2, and more.

Only three weeks after Alpha1, we’re glad to announce the release of openSUSE 11.0 Alpha 2. There are various exciting changes in there that we would like to have feedback on.

That looks damn pretty. I'm gonna have to test it vs Ubuntu 8.04...they should be almost half way to 8.10 at the time though... I wonder what fedora is bringing to the table...

I've been playing with Kubuntu lately, and I have to say it's nice. Although, I still prefer Studio and gnome over KDE. But it looks pretty, I'll give it that.
