    Cool demo of Linux XGL desktop makes Vista look like crap...

     
    Wait until the cube multimonitor thing comes up - VERY cool. Stretches your desktop across the surface of a cube.

    Actually, I have used Tab Effect for Firefox.

    This must use ALOT OF RESOURCES i would think!! (The linux thing)

    The whole thing looks like Compiz-Fusion running on KDE4, so some effects are from KDE4, some from Compiz.

    XGL is a X Server capable of providing OpenGL hardware acceleration (if available) for X, OpenGL 3D, multimedia video, and intermediate desktop compositing engines like Compiz.

    I have used that type of GUI before in live CDs.
