For the love of god please help..

Ok I've been on this project in Votech for about 3 days now. Working on some VoIP stuff. To set the background I got my analog phones talking to my 2800 router just fine, after much confusion and frustration, all is well.

Now time to get analog talking to VoIP phones, BUT I need to use Cisco CallManager to do this. I was told a certain machine with RedHat on it will have the CCM on it. I found the machine and I am trying to get it working. Down side, I have absolutly NO experience with Linux at all. I have no idea what version of RedHat this is or anything.

How do I get the GUI to load? I know that'll make my life easier but all I get is a command line and I've googled commads to get it to work with no reasonable answer.

Please help me out here! How do I load a GUI on there? Or is there one on there and just need to be load, and how to do so?

Any help will be awesome. Thanks!

Did you try typing 'startx' (without the quotes) at the Linux command line?

If you haven't, try it. If you get an error post what the error message is here.

That'll be step 1, if you want to GUI.

    there's no "CCM" for windows?

sounds like you know a lot about this stuff -- it seems strange you would be so lost in Linux

I was told a certain machine with RedHat on it will have the CCM on it. I found the machine and I am trying to get it working.
Which machine is this? Where did you get it --perhaps they can give you some clue as to how to log on, what user account and password, and it may be that the GUI isn't even installed.
