    Need more partition space.

Hey, I am running a dual boot system(XP Pro and Ubuntu). I only have 15 gigs partitioned for ubuntu and I was wondering if there was a way to put more space into that partition.

    thank you

Qparted/Gparted/Kparted from your linux distro, or Partiton Magic from your windows partition should allow you to resize the partitions. Or you could add a second hard drive.

    BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST!

My suggestion would be don't try to increase the size of the Linux partition but instead reduce the size of the Windows partition and create a new partition from the space you free up. You can then use that additional partition in Linux for storage, or you could mount your /home directory or some other directory on the new partition. You just have to be sure the new partition is properly mounted at boot time.
