Running VMWare Player under Unbuntu Server x86
I was just wondering if Ubuntu Server command live version could run VMWare's Player software in a GUI enviroment or would i have to use the GUI version of Ubuntu to run the software.

I am currently downloading Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop and Ubuntu 8.10 Server (command line only)

I would be using VMWare player 2.5.1 .rpm for Linux.

Oh my bad i misread what you said

To use the Vmplayer you will need a Desktop GUI on the host machine
