    GTX9800+ Graphics Card Ubuntu

I am unable to get this card to run in Ubuntu. Any advice out there? I would be grateful and I point out that I am not that technically able.

Let me introduce you to the site that will help you TONS.

Absolute Beginner Talk - Ubuntu Forums

There are a few linux guys on this forum, but for the most part nobody is gonna be able to help you. On the other hand, that site I linked to is just for people starting with linux. I almost bet if you do a search, you'll come up with hundreds of posts of people asking the same thing.

But to answer you question, there are a couple different ways.
    1.
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/gdm stop

    cd to/directory/with/run/script

    chmod +x *.run

    sudo ./*.run

    /etc/init.d/gdm start
looking back on that^, don't think that will work. IDK, haven't tried that way.
    or

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install envyng-core envyng-qt envyng-gtk
